Trick to install EXPIRED CERTIFICATE ERROR FOR UR NOKIA MOBIES.....

Applicable only to S60 3'rd & 5'th Edition Phones only ......!!!

List of S60v3 phones :

Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N95, Nokia N93i, Nokia N93, Nokia N92, Nokia N91, Nokia N82, Nokia N81, Nokia N80,Nokia N79, Nokia N77, Nokia N76, Nokia N73, Nokia N71, Nokia E90, Nokia E70, Nokia E65, Nokia E62, Nokia E61i, Nokia E61, Nokia E60, Nokia E50, Nokia 6290, Nokia 6120 Classic, Nokia 6110 Navigator, Nokia 5700, Nokia 5500, Nokia 3250.

List of S60v5 phones :

Nokia 5800 Xpress music , Nokia N97 .

Solution or trick to install :

When you try to install an application (E. g. theme, game, VPN client) to your Nokia device , u may get an error message: "Installation security Error. Unable to install" or "Certificate may yet not be valid, is expired or phone's day settings may be incorrect"

If you get such an error message, please set the device date to before 12.6.2007 (or for some applications maybe even earlier), and then this error doesn't appear and installation continues normally. After installation you may set date back to current date.

If this does not help then , Goto

TOOLS>APP MGR>OPTIONS>SETTINGS>SOFTWARE INSTALLATION and changed it from SIGNED ONLY to ALL.

GUD LUCK...:)
